Into the Void

(Jupiter goes retrograde. The North Node conjoins Uranus.)

Most everybody spends their waking hours distracted, entertained, and intoxicated. A way completely endorsed, perpetuated, and sold by modern society.

These are the fuel sources of the ego identified mind that enjoys the high, as well as the avoidance of anything that really matters.

Distraction, entertainment, and intoxicants are the hooks that bait us. So seductive they are.

Thankfully, we know better and after some time begin the process of peeling away everything that keeps our sense of Self that yearns for expression, trapped.

We meet our Self in the void. In deep silence. In the absence of doing. Or, everything the ego fears and pleads with you to avoid. Meditate for one hour? Why not watch the latest Netflix series?

Everything that matters is revealed in the void. It takes courage to go there at first — then, nothing else can be tolerated. And if you decide to watch something silly, it is done mindfully, with purpose — you are in control.

We find our true authority in the void, which is precisely why we do not want to go there.

We also find our bliss.
