There is nothing worth competing for.

The kind of success achieved through competition is short lived and further successes are required to keep the feeling going.

Much effort is needed to live this way. And the effort and hunger for the taste of success pulls us into our individual sense of self and out of the greater, universal, and effortless flow.

There is nothing at all wrong with this approach to living life. It's just that this highly touted and culturally embraced path ultimately leads to a dead end, where you come to realize there is nothing really worth competing for.

There is a whole other domain of success that is less measured by your ability to win than it is by your ability to surrender and give in.

I speak from Silence.
