Why you have no choice
If every ending is a beginning...
Then,
Every beginning is an ending.
Day 1 of your new job (happy) is the beginning of the end of your job (sad).
The last day of your job (sad) is the beginning of your next (happy, again).
So often we get sad at the end of an experience and happy at the beginning or prospect of a new one.
All of this is ego.
All of this is illusion.
All of this leads to suffering.
It's why the "Jedi craves not excitement or adventure."
If we are always beginning and ending all the time...
Where does that leave us?
It leaves us here and now. Undifferentiated. Not looking forward to the future. Not pining about the past.
But embracing this moment now.
There is no real choice other than surrendering and allowing it to be.
This is the joke of relativity.
