The master.

Realized in the Highest Truth. Merged with the present moment. Is nothing and everything at once.

When the master looks at you, he sees the truth of who you are. He sees the master in you.

It is a piercing look—like the look of the eagle. It penetrates layers and layers of turbulent, false mental constructions of self. "I am a Doctor. I am a husband. I am a world record holder. I am my problems." Etc.

A smile is a result of the look, as well as an awakening in consciousness.

When the master sees and recognizes the real you, you see the real you reflected in the eyes of the master.

It silences you. It makes you pause. It could frighten you.

So easy is it to fall asleep at the wheel and spend lifetime after lifetime chasing the same rainbow that leads nowhere, that always brings you back to where you started.

That is why the greatest gift the master can give you is a look.

It is a look that can wake you up and set you on the path to truth and to real satisfaction and fulfillment.
