Nothing matters

Deep down there, at the core of being human is the concept of 'nothing matters.' This is tied fundamentally to the concept of surrender and is not to be confused with the sense of resignation that can accompany the phrase.

When I truly feel nothing matters, a burden is lifted. My sense of Effortless Reality is enhanced. I may even laugh.

As soon as I think something matters (an event, a project, etc.), something is important ... my sense of doership, my sense of individuality of self importance, my ego kicks in.

Whatever we do, no matter how great, has an end date.

Humanity will be saved only to fall in to darkness again. Repeat.

It's so tragic, it's comical.

Nothing matters.

Yet, it's all sacred.
