Life Experiment: Curbing Negative Self Judgment

For two weeks, commit to finding something positive in any opportunity where you would typically resort to negative self judgment.

You just realized you lost your driver's license (again).

You could then call yourself careless, stress about the unnecessary loss of money to replace it, and so on.

Who knows.

Maybe on this trip to replace it, you encounter somebody in need of medical help. You call an ambulance and save a life.

Turns out losing the license was a blessing in disguise, as most of what we label negative in our life is.

In that instant when you would turn to self judgment and go down that painful road of beating yourself up, take a step back and try and find the positive in your alleged bad action.

It's there.
