Leaving the path is the clearest sign you're walking the path

The desire of wanting leads you to instructions, mostly in the form of teachers and books.

The instructions give you a path.

You follow the path.

And you follow.

Doing exactly as you are told.

The effort of doing eventually wears you out.

You become frustrated by all the seeking and not finding.

Maybe you effort on a little more.

Until you...

Take a breath and let go of the path that you were taught to take.

"Forget all this."

Now you are walking the path.

Now you are centered.

Now you return to yourself.

And void of desire, you may find what you were looking for.

It takes courage to let go of the path.
