Changing the world is a much smaller job than you may realize

Boiling water occurs due to an initial 10% of the water molecules reaching a boiling point, and then much like the Tipping Point that Malcolm Gladwell describes, the remaining 90% of the molecules follow in suit.
Dispense with the idea that you have to convince masses of people to 'get it'. Dispense with the idea that we're doomed because they don't.
Small is big.
Only a fraction of the percentage needs to make a positive change for the world to turn around.
So, continue to work on yourself, especially the shadowy areas where you are stuck. What you resolve in you, profoundly impacts the world around you.
Remember: It's your presence—your character—that creates change, typically not what you say or do.
