Jin Shin Jyutsu (trans. “The Art of the Creator for the Knowing and Compassionate Man”) is the modern-day form of a powerful, 3,000+ year-old medicinal art whose wisdom has been shared by various ancient cultures throughout the world to keep societies healthy, strong, and free of disease. It was re-discovered in Japan by an unlikely philosopher, Master Jiro Murai, early in the 20th century around the time Albert Einstein introduced the Theory of Relativity and Lahiri Masaya of India introduced Kriya Yoga to the world.
JSJ is a deeply compassionate art (as opposed to a rigid, mechanical technique) that confers benefits across the full health and wellness spectrum. It is effective for mitigating and/or outright removing physical disease, easing psychological and emotional burdens, and can confer more metaphysical benefits such as awakening one’s true Self (causing an increase of grace and effortlessness to one’s worldly and spiritual pursuits).
How does it work?
Jin Shin Jyutsu - Safety Energy LocksJSJ works on the level of cause and is applied by a skilled practitioner whose focus is on harmonizing (implying underlying wholeness) as opposed to healing (implying underlying wounding). By placing the hands on the body—utilizing the 26 ‘Safety Energy Locks’ each with specific physical, psychological/emotional, and metaphysical properties—guided by scientifically-derived sequential flows, the practitioner acts as a jumper cable or facilitator (as opposed to do-er) to the receiver’s energetic body; causing an opening of blocked, sub-atomic energetic pathways (the root cause of disease), the release of cellular toxins, and the eventual harmonizing of the total being for that time. A JSJ session typically lasts 60 minutes; the client is fully clothed and lies supine either on a mat on the floor or on a massage table.
Who's it for?
JSJ is for open minded people of any age interested in creating actual, positive change in their lives. It has been proven effective for those living with chronic illness (e.g., AIDS/HIV, Cancer, Asthma, Heart Disease), persistent psychological/emotional issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, hypertension), as well as for those interested in maintaining overall health and well being. JSJ is 100% complementary with other forms of natural medicine, such as yoga, naturopathy, and chiropractic and needn't rule out other practices you have undertaken.
